Sabrina Spellman is back — and this time, she’s looking a little more animated.

This Saturday, the Hub Network premieres Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch, an all-new computer animated series about everyone’s favorite adolescent spell-caster. (Technically, this isn’t Sabrina’s first cartoon — though she’s best known as the comic book character and the star of ABC’s Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, she also appeared in a ’70s animated series and a pair of more modern drawn programs.)

In this latest incarnation, Sabrina is voiced by High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale. She splits her time between a normal high school and sorcery school in the magical realm. Aunt Hilda (My Little Pony Friendship is Magic‘s Tabitha St. Germain), Aunt Zelda (Erin Mathews), Salem the cat (Ian Corlett), and big time crush Harvey (Matthew Erickson) are all on board as well, along with a passel of new characters — including James Higuchi as Shinji, an arrogant new love interest whose mother happens to be the Magical Realm’s evil Head Witch, Enchantra (Kathleen Barr).

Here’s a summary of what to expect in episode 1, titled “Dances with Werewolves”: “Sabrina’s witch world wreaks havoc with her human friends when Harvey puts on a cursed jacket as part of the costume he plans to wear to the premiere of a new werewolf movie. Later, Shinji crosses into the human world to seek revenge on Sabrina for standing him up at the full-moon dance.”

Grab your favorite broom — or vacuum cleaner — and get ready: Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch premieres Saturday, Oct. 12 at noon ET on the Hub Network.
